BIOGRAPHY OF THE FOUNDER, BISHOP CHRIS CHUKWUKA OLISA
BIRTH/CHILDHOOD
Christopher Chukwuka Olisa was born at Oko-Ogbele in Oshimili South Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria, to the family of Late Chief S. U. Olisa of Eze Uhai Royal family. He was the 7th child of a family of 15 who lost their father in 1972. The early life of Christopher Chukwuka Olisa, after the demise of their father, under his uncle H.R.H. Eze Michael Uzoka Olisa II of Oko-Ogbele was not an easy one. God was there for the family using his Elder Brother, Engineer Eddy Olisa as a very strong encouragement to them all who embraced Christ. He was instrumental to others giving their lives to Christ.
EDUCATION
Chris Olisa had his primary education at St. John`s Anglican School Oko-Ogbele while, in 1972, he started out at Pilgrim Baptist T.T.C Issele-Uku, for his secondary School, and finished at St Thomas T.T.C. Ibusa both in Delta State. As a man of potential prominence, he sought and acquired his Bachelor of Commerce Degree at Panjab University, Chandigarh, India, majoring in Accounting. For his love of knowledge, he went on to acquire his Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Abubakkar Tafawa Balewa University in Bauchi State, Nigeria. He also attended many courses on Leadership both in Nigeria and overseas.

WORK LIFE
He started work as a Youth Corper with the Customs and Excise Department, Aminu Kano International Airport. After the compulsory NYSC, he got a job with chemiron Nigeria Ltd as the Branch accountant. Being a result oriented young man, other Companies wanted his service. Subsequently, he joined Jawa Nigeria Ltd as a Business Development manager in Ibadan before moving to Kawalrams Nigeria Ltd as a Regional sales marketing manager (East); the job that brought him to Port Harcourt.



MARITAL LIFE
Chris Olisa was married to Rev (Mrs) Helen Nneka Olisa (Nee Nwajiakwu) who is his partner and a pillar of support in this work. A woman greatly anointed in the ministry of prayers and intercession. A forthright woman and a great counsellor with such finesse as have rarely been seen before. She is presently the General Overseer of Prevailers Chapel Int’l. They are blessed with a beautiful daughter, Miss Sharon Somtochukwu Olisa.

HIS CALL
Having attended a Catholic Secondary School, he desired to go to Seminary. Even though his family did not support his desire to go to Seminary, yet his quest for serving God was still very high. On September 26th, 1986 at Nassarawa Chapter of Full Gospel Business Men`s Fellowship International meeting at ECWA Guest House, Kano, Chris Olisa got born again. He was also strongly involved in Holy Name Fellowship, Kano. Due to the religious crises in Kano resulting from the Reinhard Bonke Crusade, he had to relocate to Lagos where he joined Revival Assembly and was actively involved in Deliverance and Spiritual Warfare. While still at Revival Assembly, God specially asked him to go for Bible School. In obedience, he attended Latter Rain Assembly Bible College not knowing that God was preparing and equipping him for a greater calling by sharpening his ministerial skills.
In Lagos also, he became the first Chapter President of Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, Palmgrove Chapter, before he had a job that took him to Ibadan. At Ibadan he joined The Sword of The Spirit Ministries and was part of the Deliverance Department. He attended the popular OPERATION JOSHUA of Christ Life Church under the Sword of the Spirit Ministries. After Operation Joshua, he was part of the team that started the Odeaje Satellite Church and Anfani/Imaletelafa Satellite Church which he pastored with his wife.
HIS ORDINATION

In 1996, he was ordained an Assistant Pastor by His Father in the Lord, Bishop Francis Wale Oke. A new job took him out of Ibadan to Port Harcourt where he joined El-Shaddai Ministries. His ordination was upheld by the General Overseer of El-Shaddai Ministries, Archbishop Elkanah Hanson. He was made the Resident Pastor of Amadi-Ama branch. He was transferred to the Headquarter Church in 2003 and later to Abuloma branch church. He ventuered into politics in Delta State and business with his own factory at Asaba, Delta State. At this point in his life, he received a clean and clear instruction from God to start a new ministry and to pay attention to it. Under divine instruction, he went to Bishop Francis Wale Oke and submitted to him as a son. So, in 2007, he began the new work that is known today as Prevailers Chapel International. In September 2012, he was ordained a Reverend by Bishop Francis Wale Oke. He was consecrated a Bishop by the Calvary Grace College of Bishops led by His Lordship, Bishop Francis Wale Oke on 12th March 2016.
His ministerial endowment of healing and deliverance has taken him to major parts of Rivers State and beyond; including many major cities in Nigeria and other countries of the World. He had a profound commitment to sound teaching of the word of God and the demonstration of the power of the Gospel to liberate mankind from all forms of satanic captivity. He worked hard to promote the bond of love among Christian brethren at home and abroad. He championed collaboration among ministers of the Gospel to deliver our communities from demonic powers.
He was the Founder and Grand Patron of Amadi-Ama Clergy Association, South-South Co-ordinator of Nigeria Turning Point Prayer Movement, the organization founded by his Father in the Lord, Bishop Francis Wale Oke. He was the Secretary of the Transformational Bishops Fellowship, the National Vice Chairman of the Trans-Atlantic and Pacific Alliance of Churches and a member of the Calvary Grace Int’l College of Bishops by whom he was consecrated.
