BISHOP CHRIS OLISA AND HIS CALL TO KINGDOM SERVICE
Having attended a Catholic Secondary School, he desired to go to Seminary. Even though his family did not support his desire to go to Seminary, yet his quest for serving God was still very high. On September 26th, 1986 at Nassarawa Chapter of Full Gospel Business Men`s Fellowship International meeting at ECWA Guest House, Kano, Chris Olisa got born again. He was also strongly involved in Holy Name Fellowship, Kano. Due to the religious crises in Kano resulting from the Reinhard Bonke Crusade, he had to relocate to Lagos where he joined Revival Assembly and was actively involved in Deliverance and Spiritual Warfare. While still at Revival Assembly, God specially asked him to go for Bible School. In obedience, he attended Latter Rain Assembly Bible College not knowing that God was preparing and equipping him for a greater calling by sharpening his ministerial skills.
In Lagos also, he became the first Chapter President of Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, Palmgrove Chapter, before he had a job that took him to Ibadan. At Ibadan he joined The Sword of The Spirit Ministries and was part of the Deliverance Department. He attended the popular OPERATION JOSHUA of Christ Life Church under the Sword of the Spirit Ministries. After Operation Joshua, he was part of the team that started the Odeaje Satellite Church and Anfani/Imaletelafa Satellite Church which he pastored with his wife.
In 1996, he was ordained an Assistant Pastor by His Father in the Lord, Bishop Francis Wale Oke. A new job took him out of Ibadan to Port Harcourt where he joined El-Shaddai Ministries. His ordination was upheld by the General Overseer of El-Shaddai Ministries, Archbishop Elkanah Hanson. He was made the Resident Pastor of Amadi-Ama branch. He was transferred to the Headquarter Church in 2003 and later to Abuloma branch church. He ventuered into politics in Delta State and business with his own factory at Asaba, Delta State. At this point in his life, he received a clean and clear instruction from God to start a new ministry and to pay attention to it. Under divine instruction, he went to Bishop Francis Wale Oke and submitted to him as a son. So, in 2007, he began the new work that is known today as Prevailers Chapel International. In September 2012, he was ordained a Reverend by Bishop Francis Wale Oke. He was consecrated a Bishop by the Calvary Grace College of Bishops led by His Lordship, Bishop Francis Wale Oke on 12th March 2016.
His ministerial endowment of healing and deliverance has taken him to major parts of Rivers State and beyond; including many major cities in Nigeria and other countries of the World. He had a profound commitment to sound teaching of the word of God and the demonstration of the power of the Gospel to liberate mankind from all forms of satanic captivity. He worked hard to promote the bond of love among Christian brethren at home and abroad. He championed collaboration among ministers of the Gospel to deliver our communities from demonic powers.
He was the Founder and Grand Patron of Amadi-Ama Clergy Association, South-South Co-ordinator of Nigeria Turning Point Prayer Movement, the organization founded by his Father in the Lord, Bishop Francis Wale Oke.
