Topic For The Day: ENJOYING HIS LOVINGKINDNESS
Text: Psalm 42: 8
A dictionary definition says loving kindness is “kindness or mercy which is based on, or arises from love.” The loving kindness of God is as a result of His love for us. Love can go to any length to do things for the beloved. If earthly love can go to a great extent to do things for the loved ones, God can do more.
God’s loving kindness makes Him to do greater things for us. It propels His desire to bless us spiritually, materially, in every way; with heaven at last; it makes Him to keep us from evils and dangers that attend our days.
The love God has for us is certainly, unconditional; and there is nothing we can compare to it. The depth of love that made Him to give only His begotten Son to the world is indescribable and unquantifiable. Through His loving kindness, He orders our steps to repentance and the knowledge of Him. After repentance, He pours His grace upon His child. He fills our hearts with joy and makes His power and authority available to us. His loving kindness is unspeakable. We cannot do less than to praise and worship Him.
